Nordea’s new headquarters in Ørestad, close to the city of Copenhagen, is an ambitious sustainable building designed to the highest LEED standard – LEED Platinum.
The new building features 46,000 square metres of sustainable floor area across six floors, of which 5,000 square metres are occupied by one of Northern Europe’s largest trading floors.
The project was complex, and meeting the architects’ requirements for a modern open office building that includes an entire floor with heavy and noisy machines, made the project especially challenging with regard to acoustics, noise and building structures.
